Abstract

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the evaluation of the process of acquiring and selecting employees in the selected company. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current process of acquiring and selecting employees in the selected company XYZ. To analyze what methods the company uses, to propose new possible variants and recommendations in order to achieve more satisfactory results in this process. The company faces a high turnover of employees in the production department in blue-collar positions, for which it is more difficult to attract new applicants. The research is therefore focused specifically on blue-collar positions. Where to look for candidates for this position and how to approach them. Find out what they lack in their job and what information should not be missing in the advertisement, what is important to them in order to attract the greatest number of applicants. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Data for the bachelor's thesis were obtained using a questionnaire. Proposals and recommendations were drawn up based on the results of the questionnaire survey: improving the website, advertising in shops and newspapers, stating the amount of wages, benefits and working hours in the job description, expanding the range of benefits and establishing cooperation with secondary schools. The proposals are focused specifically on the process of acquiring employees. According to the questionnaire survey, the company has properly adopted the selection of employees. The questionnaire mentioned the company's good reputation and friendly dealings with people. A company can use these suggestions to streamline the process of recruiting employees for blue-collar positions.
