Požární bezpečnost a specifické požadavky na protipožární systémy v jaderných elektrárnách

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of fire safety equipment in the area of nuclear power plants. In the first part with of the thesis, there is an introduction to the importance of these plants and the benefits they bring to the Czech Republic and the whole world. Furthermore, nuclear power plants, the principle of their operation and the types of reactors used in the Czech Republic are described. International organizations and national supervisory authorities are also an important topic, the most important of which have been mentioned in the thesis. Next, the legal requirements, and especially the most important laws and decrees, for fire protection and nuclear power are summarised. The final chapter of the thesis is a summary of the normative requirements for the installation and maintenance of selected fire safety equipment. The thesis concludes with the actual designs of systems that can be used in the future to improve safety in nuclear power plants.
