Abstract

This qualification study concerns the design of information system for calculations of fire safety of buildings. The study consists of the theoretical part that explains the legal requirements for fire safety of buildings, describes the existing information systems, commercial products and the process of gathering survey data. The survey was carried out using the group of the ČKAIT members specialized in fire safety of buildings. The practical part of the study covers the use of analytical and unified object-oriented methods to design the complex system. The study also focuses on selected subsystems.
