Problematika komunálního odpadu a nutnost jeho odstranění z hlediska ochrany životního prostředí

Abstract

The situation in the field of waste management in the Czech Republic is rather problematic. Almost all mixed domestic waste materials are disposed of in a landfill by burying the waste. The old landfills can create a number of adverse environmental impact. There is close connection between the sysem of waste management and „the problems of sustainability“ The first part of the dissertation is focused on the obligations of the Czech Republic under the terms of the national Waste Management Plan, and on the financial support of this field form the European Union resources landfill areas as it is demanded by the guidelines on dumping issued by the European Union.
