Rizika nouzového zásobování pitnou vodou v Praze

Abstract

The work describes and specifies the basic safety risks that may occur in the production and distribution system of drinking water in Prague. It describes water resources, vulnerability and substitutability in the water supply system. It also maps distribution´s possibilities for the emergency water supply. The thesis outlines the basic ways to reduce the identified risks to acceptable level. The work also includes current legislative environment description in case of extraordinary events and emphasizes the importance of state and local governments and of the public water supply operator.
