Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its impact on the organizations and companies to which the regulation is concerned. It describes the author's own experience as a manager of information and communication technologies at the Leisure Centre - the Children's and Teen's House in Teplice, and has been entrusted with preparatory work so that this school institution complies with the GDPR at the date of its introduction.
