Zapomenutá obec Fláje – historie plavebního kanálu

Abstract

Předmětem bakalářské práce je připomenout významná technická díla - Flájský plavební kanál a Flájskou přehradu. Téma je uvedeno stručnou historií obce Fláje. Navazuje popis stavby plavebního kanálu a nástin k jakým účelům byl tento kanál užíván. Dále jsou popsány důvody vzniku a průběh výstavby vodní nádrže Fláje a vysvětleny příčiny přesunu historické památky kostela sv. Jana Křtitele z obce Fláje do obce Český Jiřetín. Závěrečná práce podává zhodnocení významu technické památky Flájského plavebního kanálu z pohledu atraktivity pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu v Ústeckém regionu.

The subject of this thesis is reminding two significant technical monuments – the Fláje floating channel and the Fláje dam. This topic is introduced by a brief history of the Fláje village. The floating channel construction is then described together with its purpose. In the following text, reasons to build the Fláje dam and the course of its construction are depicted. Reasons for shifting the Church of John the Baptist (a historical landmark) from Fláje to Horní Jiřetín are explained too. The final part of this text reviews the value of Fláje floating channel from view of its attractiveness for the tourism development in the Ústí Region.
