Abstract

This thesis deals with steel structures fire protection due to the systems of passive fire protection. In the thesis are summarized information about steel as construction material, about behavior of steel in high temperatures and about actual law regulations. Thesis main part is focused on describtion of individual fire protection systems. Specific products are described in detail and then is made their comparison. Thesis also includes describtion of new technologies and future view of solved issue.
