Abstract

The subject of this bachelor thesis is to determine the fire resistance of steel structure elements and analysis of influence of high temperature on the behavior of statically indeterminate structures, which can’t be solved by simplified standard methods. The work includes a study of statically indeterminate steel frame structure of box cross section, which is loaded equal and unequal temperature. The problem is solved by general deformation method and numerical modeling in software Scia Engineer in physically linearity. Changes in the mechanical properties of materials depending on the temperature are respected.
