Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with preparatory work on the Prešov tunnel before the beginning of its excavation. We can divide the preparatory works into two stages. a) Project stage: geological exploration, geological and hydrogeological conditions of the site, application of the most suitable disconnection technology, division of the massif into sections, design of dressing classes. b) Work directly carried out in the field by the contractor, for example: earthworks, site security, building site facilities, ensuring good and secure building logistics. Timely and correct execution of preparatory work is very important for safety and continuous construction. Changes in the course of the construction itself would be very risky and require expensive downtime.
