Abstract

This thesis addresses the environmental impact of the automotive industry, focusing particularly on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and the evaluation of the environmental impacts of products, processes, and services throughout their life cycle. The objective of the thesis is to assess how the introduction of recycled materials in the automotive industry influences the carbon footprint of vehicles and overall sustainability. The study includes conducting an LCA analysis, identifying environmental impact "hotspots," and exploring the potential effects of using recycled materials in these key areas.
