Investiční příležitosti drobného investora na finančních a komoditních trzích

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá investičními příležitostmi drobného investora na finančních a komoditních trzích. Cílem práce je zhodnotit a porovnat vybrané investiční nástroje z hlediska jejich výnosnosti a rizikovosti v různých investičních horizontech.

Teoretická část se zaměřuje na vymezení základních pojmů investování a charakteristiku finančních a komoditních trhů. Dále popisuje jednotlivé investiční nástroje a jejich specifika. Praktická část zhodnocuje vybrané investice, konkrétně dluhopisový fond Sporobond, zlato, akciový index S&P 500 a komoditní index S&P GSCI.

Výkonnost investic je hodnocena pomocí geometrického průměru výnosů a výpočtu budoucí hodnoty investice. Rizikovost je posuzována prostřednictvím směrodatné odchylky výnosů. Výsledky jsou porovnávány v krátkodobém i dlouhodobém investičním horizontu.

Na základě výsledků je zhodnocena vhodnost jednotlivých investičních nástrojů pro drobného investora s ohledem na jeho investiční cíle, časový horizont a ochotu podstupovat riziko.

This bachelor thesis focuses on investment opportunities for retail investors in financial and commodity markets. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate and compare selected investment instruments in terms of their profitability and risk in different investment horizons.

The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of investing and describes financial and commodity markets. It also introduces individual investment instruments and their characteristics. The practical part evaluates selected investments, namely the bond fund Sporobond, gold, the S&P 500 stock index, and the S&P GSCI commodity index.

Investment performance is evaluated using the geometric average return and the calculation of future value. Risk is assessed using the standard deviation of returns. The results are compared across short-term and long-term investment horizons.

Based on the results, the suitability of the selected investment instruments for retail investors is evaluated with regard to their investment goals, time horizon, and risk tolerance.
