Abstract

Aim of this work is to evaluate the fatigue properties of metallic materials, namely steel 42CrMo4 test bars for mechanical testing devices by walter + bai ag s evaluation of the measured values ​​and then construct an Wohlers curve. The practical exam is also to determine the purity of the microstructure of the sample material and the overall evaluation of steel 42CrMo4.       All the practical part follows the theoretical part, which deals with the characteristics of metallic materials, the distribution and properties of mechanical tests also lawful process of fatigue. An essential part of the practical part is also a brief description of the chemical, mechanical and technological properties of the investigated steel.
