Abstract

Distributive high voltage network is a complicated three-phase system. Most defects occuring in the network are caused by the ground faults. Detection of the defect point is very complicated. The thesis deals with the operation of high voltage networks in both states of failure and failure-free. The principle of the earth fault location protection is aslo described in the thesis as well as shunting which effectively influences the safety of the ground fault location. The following part of the work is dedicated to the measurements taken with different types of electrical network faults and indirectly earthed transformer node via electrical inertia.
