Abstract

This bachelor thesis is about an individual professional practice, in a selected company. My professional practice was carried out in the company ABB.s.r.o. CZOPC Ostrava, during the 3rd year of studying Electrical Power Engineering at the University of Báňská – Technical University of Ostrava. I mainly focused on industrial LV converters of ACS880 series. Their overview and use in practice. I tried setting the main parameters necessary for motor start-up and setting the FIO-11 extension module. I used software such as Drive Size and Drive Composer Pro to select and configure the drive.
