Abstract

This thesis deals with high-voltage reactor and above all by principles of heat transfer. The reactors are an integral part of the energy systems and are used as smoothing, quenching or compensational. The heat transfer can be divided into 3 basic types, namely conduction, convection and radiation. Always it is a certain combination of these types. At flow of current the line wire is heated influence joule´s looses, that´s why it is important to lead away heat from the space of coil. In my thesis I deal with thermal simulation in passage the electric current by reactor and streaming transformer oil, as a coolant. Simulation is performed in software ANSYS/CFX.
