Abstract
This thesis is devoted to the methane output of the selected location in Orlova, in parts Kopaniny and Osada pod Lipou. It examines the geological and engineering geological characteristics of the area and evaluates the factors influencing the migration of gas towards the surface. For the study of digital maps software from ESRI ArcGIS Desktop 10.2.2 was used in which some of the layers were provided by the project no. 35 / AKT Association of Great methane. For investigating the properties of the rock mass two geophysical methods - resistivity electrical tomography and ground penetrating radar were applied. The results were related to the issue.
