Abstract

In my bachelor thesis I deal with the environmental labeling of products type I, II and III and with the label Product of organic farming. I give examples of right and wrong labels. I want to point out at the necessity of media promotion of environmental labeling among consumers and firms. Environmental labeling as a voluntary tool of the environmental protection uses the market mechanisms – offer and demand and it hides a big potential in it.
