Marina na břehu Vltavy

Abstract

The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of the Marina on the bank of the Vltava river in Prague. The building itself primarily includes a restaurant serving visitors, a museum with a view of the surroundings and the grounds. Part of the proposal is the preparation of an architectural study of the building and the adjacent public space, which is located in direct connection with the water level of the blind arm of the Vltava River. Currently, the area under consideration is unused, delimited on the south side by residential development, on the north side by the administrative building of České přístavy. The goal of the work is to make the area accessible for spending free time with the possibility of mooring boats.
