Kritická analýza probit funkcí používaných v rámci prevence závažných havárií

Abstract

Nowadays probit functions belong to one of the most frequently used tool for evaluation of toxic effect in terms of risk analysis. Use of this tool includes some specific uncertainties, that can to a certain extend distort the final threshold limit. In this work the theoretical base necessary for understanding of probit analysis is described. There are also mentioned approaches of other institutions concerned with probit analysis for risk assessment of accidental events purposes. Some uncertainties related to use of probit function are discussed as well.
