Návrh technologie mechanicko-biologické úpravy odpadů

Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the design of mechanical-biological waste treatment (MBT) technology for Moravská skládková společnost a.s. The theoretical part deals with legislative requirements influencing MBT, provides a general overview of municipal waste management, and analyzes experiences with mechanical-biological treatment abroad. The practical part focuses on design of the MBT technology. It includes the localization of the project, characterization of the input waste to the facility, the design of two technological variants, and a description of refuse-derived fuel and its subsequent energy use. The final part of the diploma thesis compares both proposed variants from a technological, economic, and environmental perspective, and summarizes their advantages and disadvantages.
