Charakterizace slévárenských odpadů vybranými metodami chemické analýzy

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the comprehensive characterization of selected foundry wastes originating from different technological processes using methods of physical and chemical analysis. In the experimental part, twelve samples were analysed. For the evaluation, methods for determining pH, electrical conductivity of the water extract, leachable substance content, X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, elemental combustion analysis, sieve analysis and digital microscopy were used. The results confirmed that the physicochemical properties of the waste are related to the type of binder used. The obtained results serve as a basis for assessing these materials in terms of their recycling and further utilization.
