Abstract
In my dissertation I deal with the analysis of how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the production of plastic waste. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of plastic from its composition to waste treatment and current legislation focused on waste management. The main point is the analysis consisting of a questionnaire survey, analysis of household waste and subsequent evaluation of the results processed in the SWOT analysis.
