Analýza vývoje výdajů na sociální zabezpečení v ČR od roku 1993 a vazba na státní dluh

Abstract

The essay puts mind to the analysis of expenditure on social security in the Czech Republic. It is focused on the individual expenditure from the system of the pension insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance and state social support paid in 1993-2010. Then it compares these partial systems compares in terms of their size. It observes the substantial legislative changes that were made during this period. On graphs is then shown how social expenditures have been evolving for the past 18 years. The essay also points to some problems in financing social security and it links social expenditure to the state budget deficit. Finally, suggestions are described associated with the reform of public finances and pension reform.
