Rozšírenie SDR nástroja OpenWebRX+ o príjem meteorologických dát rádiových sound

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on the design and implementation of an extension for the OpenWebRX+ multi-user web SDR receiver. The main task is the integration of external decoders and libraries into the application in order to retrieve meteorological data, such as temperature, humidity and geopotential height, from signals emitted during the flight of a radiosonde. The decoded meteorological data is processed using JSON format and displayed to the user, and the radiosonde's position is visualized on a map. The thesis includes a description of the features of the most used types of radiosondes and their sensors, implementation of the decoding of radiosonde data in the OpenWebRX+ application and visualisation of these data on the map. The resulting implementation of the extension has been tested on test files with raw data from RS41 and M20 radiosondes. In addition to these files, we had real RS41-SGM and RS41-SGP radiosondes on which the extension was tested, and a signal from a radiosonde launched from a remote weather station was also successfully intercepted.
