Mapování dopadů přívalových srážek na území České republiky - epizoda 27. a 28.5.2014

Abstract

The aim of this work is to map via the internet the effects of flash rainfall in the Czech Republic during the days 27 and 28 May 2014. The theoretical part includes explanation of the term related to flash floods and circumstances that preceded them. It shows preview of hydrometeorological situation, which has been a major factor in case of flash floods. It also deals with using methods and operating procedures. In the practical part is described, how the data were collected, processed and visualized. The selected areas are displayed on the map outputs and described in the final evaluation, which are then compared with the prediction of interference HZS and predict creation of flash floods. Result highlights the effects of flash floods and their position within selected areas of the Czech Republic.
