Objektivita médií a vyváženost zpráv českých televizních stanic ve 21. století

Abstract

The aim of my dissertation work is to characterize basic principles of journalism such as objectivity, truthfulness, impartiality and information verification. These basic concepts have been explained and the dissertation work also shows the legislative regulations summary and self-regulation as well, which belong to journalist‘s ethical principles. On the other hand the thesis also offers a view on the possibilities of disinformation, bias, manipulation and persuasive means of communication. The practical analytical part offers a comparative analysis of Udalosti and Televizní noviny, a content analysis of semiotics and objectivity that is supposed to either confirm or disprove some biased journalist‘s work on a given set of news reports.
