Ekonomické zhodnocení likvidace nelegálních skládek na území městského obvodu Slezská Ostrava

Abstract

This work deals with the problem of illegal dumping. After presentation of the waste management the practical part of the work is devoted to the problem of illegal dumps and financial costs devoted to its removal. Charting, determinating of financial costs devoted to removal and propositing of measure leading to prevention of illegal dumping are namely goals of the work. The whole work is based on my own research in an apropriate area. Illegal dumps that I have found are clearly charted and divided into categories. On the base of these categories I try to estimate financial costs needed to dispose all illegal dumps from the solved area. I have found 78 illegal dumps in the residental area Zábřeh. In the vacant area Heřmanice is the final number of illegal dumps only 65 but some of them are far more bigger than those in Zábřeh. Moreover the structure of waste is more various in Heřmanice. Financial costs needed in a case of all illegal dumps removal from Zábřeh are much lower. It is due to an absence of mixed construction and demolition waste in residental areas. The work demonstrates that illegal dumps occur in the area of the statutory city of Ostrava. And even though the solved areas cover just a small part of the whole city the financial costs needed are in hundreds of thousands crowns. In my opinion the complex solution of illegal dumping is based on the education of the public rather than simple release of a large sum of money.
