Komparace účinků klasického střeliva a střeliva se zvýšeným zraňujícím účinkem pro krátké palné zbraně

Abstract

BÍLEK, Petr. Comparsion of the effects of conventional and high injury ammunition for handguns. Ostrava, 2025. Bachelor thesis, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering. Department of Security Services. Thesis supervisor Ing. Miriam Kadlubcová, Ph.D. The focus of this bachelor's thesis is to compare the effects of full metal jacket 9×19 mm (FMJ) ammunition and 9×19 mm jacketed hollow point (JHP) ammunition. The thesis is structured into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on the description of ballistics and its fundamental physical principles. Additionally, it examines the effects of ammunition, its effectiveness, and the specific impact of full metal jacket bullets and hollow point bullets. The practical part consists of an experiment that serves as the basis for comparing the effects of the tested ammunition. This experiment consists of two parts conducted on ballistic gelatine samples, which serve as a simulation of human muscle tissue.
