Annotation TENK, Lukáš. Environmental impact assessment of fires from the view of ecotoxicity. Bachelor thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, 2018. 52 p. This bachelor thesis deals with fires in the paper industry.It focuses primarily on the envi-ronmental impact of extinguishing water on the environment. The theoretical part describes the fires of individual paper objects and paper stores in where the paper is used for printing and stor-ing. This bachelor thesis is focused on selected materials and their types (different types of pa-pers stretch foil or printing colours), it describes their properties, which are verified in laboratory conditions. In the experimental part is this bachelor thesis focused on the simulation of fires of these selected types of materials. In the last part of this bachelor thesis is the extinguishing water subjected to a semichronic toxicity test on the white mustard seeds.
