Abstract
In the main part of this thesis is a calculation of the mineral composition of granites and granodiorite, newly proposed method for chemical quantitative mineral analysis (CQMA). This method is based on a calculation content of minerals present in a sample: from chemical analysis (a) identification of minerals (b), and their crystallochemical formulas (c). At the beginning of thesis are the methods used in the determination of minerals such as quartz, plagioclase, feldspar in granites and granodiorites and how these methods work. In the next part of the thesis is a description of the functioning of the program CQMA and the possibility of using to calculate minerals from the chemical analysis or calculation of minerals analysis. The private part of this work are then calculated the mineral content of 30 samples of granites and granodiorite and compared all results to the optical analyzes carried out in workplace Institute of Geonics.
