Hodnocení kolizí silniční dopravy se zvěří v Poodří

Abstract

This thesis is focused on the evaluation of road transport collisions with animals in Ostrava, Frydek-Mistek and Odra, the number of accidents and their localization. The first part is a literature review dealing with the fragmentation of the landscape, intensity and effects of transport, as well as migration and mortality of animals caused by transport in general, here in the Czech Republic and abroad.The second part of the database is created from data obtained from police statistics, traffic police in Moravian-Silesian region in the year 2012 and 2013, which recorded encounters with larger animals. The work also evaluates the landscape surrounding roads such a highway, roads, roads of I. and II. class. in places of accidents. Collision with wild animals is calculated in terms of potential migration barriers. Practical work output is a proposal and an overview of some existing and future measures to prevent the vehicle striking a deer.
