Thesis Supervisor Ing. Věra Holubová, Ph.D. The bachelor thesis deals with the camera system of the village Šútovo. The main aim of this work is to propose an increase in the effectiveness of this system. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical section. The theoretical part describes the basic characteristics of the camera system, crime prevention and legislation on the discused thesis. The practical part consists of the description of the village Šútovo and the current state of the camera system together with statistics in regards to crime and security research. In the next part of the practical section, security analysis is carried out. The main objective of this analysis is to assess the risks of public areas and identify critical localities in Šútovo. Finally, the last part of this work discusses about development of an innovative design of the camera system.
