Zhodnocení využitelnosti alternativních přírodních koagulantů

Abstract

The diploma thesis evaluates the utilizability analysis of alternative natural coagulants. The theoretical part is devoted to describing the different kinds of colloidal particles in water, the process of clarification and the process of adsorption. The practical part deals with the actual laboratory experiment of coagulation, in which aluminum sulfate and natural alternative coagulants from seeds from four plants - Moringa oleifera, Fenugreek, Chickpea and Lablab purpureus - were used as coagulants. The results of practical part shown that alternative coagulants are capable removing turbidity, dissolved solids and reducing values of COD and conductivity to the same levels as inorganic coagulants.
