Abstract

This thesis deals with the activities of the district police department of the police in crime prevention area. The aim was to analyze the programs for the prevention of crime precinct police Bohumín evaluate their effects in cities Bohumin and Rychvald and suggest possible improvements. In the theoretical part was characterized by police and its role in crime prevention. The practical part of an analysis of crime prevention programs and evaluate the effectiveness of programs in cities Bohumin and Rychvald. Based on the evaluation confirmed the hypothesis that the implementation of prevention programs to reduce crime in the city. At the end of the defined concrete proposals that can contribute to improving the activities of the police in crime prevention.
