Abstract

This bachelor work deals with pressure sensors used for electronic control of petrol and Diesel engines. It contains the search of conceptual solutions and functional properties of pressure sensors. The theoretical part in the introduction is engaged in requirements which must be fulfilled by pressure sensors and in new development trends. The main part of the theory contains the analysis of properties and principles of pressure sensor functions in the suction tube and of supercharging and fuel and brake fluid sensors. The work also deals in more details with the technology of micromechanical pressure sensors. The practical part contains the measurement and verification of pressure sensor functional properties of the vehicle with the forced induction Diesel engine. To reach the necessary engine load, the measurement was carried out with the use of dynamic brake test room.
