Author deals with tires’ fires in this thesis. First section gives theoretical information
about tires themselves, their burning and gaseous products of fire. The second part concerning
the fire prevention and repression, also containing the real project, examines possibilities of
usage a deflector to prevent the spread of fire. Concluding section is presented as a proposal
of a methodical sheet of Field manual – Fires of tire dumps.
