Technologický proces a účinnost čištění odpadních mořících vod

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the technological process and efficiency of wastewater treatment, primarily acidic wastewater containing heavy metals coming from two chemical lines of a wire drawing plant. The treatment and neutralization of the wastewater is carried out in an in-house neutralization plant. The main treatment processes include pH adjustment, precipitation, sedimentation and filtration. The aim of the work is to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment and to compare the concentration and balance pollution with the relevant limits set by the sewerage code of the city of Trinec. The methodology includes sampling of wastewater, analysis of samples for selected pollution indicators and subsequent evaluation of the analysis results. The results show that the efficiency of the neutralisation plant is very good and the treatment is effective. However, it is recommended to optimise the dosage of lime as a neutralising agent, as the observed excess pH values of the discharged wastewater offer the possibility to improve the economics of the operation of the neutralisation plant.
