Abstract

In this diploma thesis is solved with design of controlled compensation for substation R2, which is located in Třinecké železárny. The theoretical part first provides information on the theoretical analysis of power supply in industrial distribution. Further this part deals with the description of the high-voltage network of Energetika Třinec and the rolling-mill semi-finished products and coarse profiles. They are also explained here individual compensation options for substation R2, which serves to power the already mentioned rolling-mill semi-finished products and coarse profiles. The practical part first deals with the power ratios on the substation R2. It works here with measured values, which form the basic basis for the proposed compensation. In this part is further solved the itself proposal compensation, which is realized as switching power factor correction system. Subsequently is performed here dimensioning the individual components for a given proposal such as compensation capacitors, detuned reactors, vacuum contactors, fuses etc. The conclusion of the practical part is devoted to the final economic and technical evaluation of the created compensation proposal.
