Abstract

The diploma thesis examines in detail the specifics of trenchless laying of gas pipelines. It provides a comprehensive overview of trenchless technologies and analyses in detail the requirements for trenchless installation of gas pipelines. It focuses on two specific examples from the practical application of trenchless methods in the construction of high-pressure gas pipelines, namely the Gazela and Moravia gas pipelines, conducts a thorough analysis of them and examines the effectiveness of their solutions. The practical part of the thesis presents a proposal for a general procedure for the implementation and design of trenchless solutions for large-diameter high-pressure gas pipelines. It also includes a risk analysis to optimally select a method for the construction of such pipelines. Overall, the thesis is a comprehensive study, combining theory with practical examples, and provides a deeper understanding of trenchless gas pipeline laying and the process of selecting the appropriate method for specific projects.
