Abstract

This thesis deals with description, design and creation of the power part of four quadrant DC/DC converter. In the first chapter there is a description of each type of DC/DC converter, electric wiring schematics and the waveforms of output voltage and current. The second chapter is about calculating power losses, temperature dimensioning and design of capacitor battery. There is a description of each part of the final product too. In the third chapter there is a verification of calculated results with results obtained by the simulation in program Semisel. The simulations of the four quadrant DC/DC converter‘s output voltages and currents are evaluated in the program OrCAD/Pspice and compared with results of measurement on the final laboratory sample.
