Abstract
The goal of the bachelor thesis is to characterize the control system in term of the statutory city of Ostrava in the period 2006 – 2010. The second chapter deals with the problem of control in public administration. The third chapter describes the organization and territorial structure of the statutory city of Ostrava. The fourth chapter describes and evaluates the control system in term of the statutory city of Ostrava in the period 2006 – 2010. This in terms of the city autority and municipal districts Ostrava-Jih and Nová Ves.
