Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on hormones occurring in waste water. First, the hormones are described and classified based on their classifications. Furthermore, the work is focused on their effects in the environment, which is what effects organisms, how they spread and vice versa. Another part is devoted to sewage contamination and efficacy of estrogen removal in WWTPs. There are important different methods of determination, legislative measures helps to eliminate estrogens from the environment.
