Abstract
With the increase in production of titanium dioxide pigment at Precheza Inc. it is also closely linked to increase exhaust gas purification capacity after calcination. Emission limits for SO2 into the atmosphere are very strict and for this reason it is necessary to have the technology for cleaning exhaust gas with sufficient capacity.
In the first part, characterization of the existing technologies of exhaust gas purification from the sulfur oxides, resulting from the calcination of TiO2 pigment. Following part is focused on to the simulating calculation of enhanced capacity of purification technology Sulfacid with respect to the projected extension unit Sulfacid from four to five reactors.
