Křižovatka Těšínská - Třinecká v obci Těrlicko

Abstract

The goal of the bachelor work „Těšínská – Třinecká in Těrlicko“ are to analyze road safety, the suitability of the current arrangement and the subsequent designing of solutions with a view in increasing the safety and fluency of transport. Part of the bachelor´s work is the implementation of traffic engineering survey including video analysis of conflict situations, from which the data on the intensity od traffic, their direction and the structure of the traffic flow were found. Three solutions were then proposed to improve traffic safety and fluency. And their subsequent assessment and evaluation. The first proposal is the change of priority in the ride, the second proposal is a change of priority with the design of the drift island, and the third proposal is a circular junction. In the end, simulation models of intersection were created in PTV VISSIM.
