Simulace počítačové sítě v programu OPNET

Abstract

Cieľom bakalárskej práce je priblíženie funkcií programu OPNET Modeler, vytvorenie simulácie prenosu dát v rôznych typoch počítačových sietí s využitím tohto programu, ako aj návodu na vytvorenie jednotlivých simulácií a porovnanie získaných výsledkov s výsledkami nameranými na reálnych zariadeniach v školskom laboratóriu. Porovnané sú siete s použitými protokolmi OSPF a RIP a jedna sieť s využitím bezdrôtového Wi-Fi pripojenia. V laboratóriu bolo pomocou programu ping zmerané oneskorenie zapojených sietí a programom iperf ich priepustnosť. Tieto dve hodnoty boli potom merané pri simuláciách v programe OPNET Modeler a nakoniec aj porovnané s reálnymi hodnotami.

Intention of thesis is to approach the functions of the OPNET Modeler program, creating simulations of data transmission in different types of computer networks using this program, as well as instructions for the creation of simulations and compare the results obtained with results measured on real devices in the school laboratory. Compared are networks using OSPF and RIP protocol, and wireless network using Wi-Fi connection. The delay of connected network was measured with the program ping and troughput of network with the program iperf. These two values were measured in simulations in OPNET Modeler program and eventually compared with real values.
