Tvorba a kvantitativní hodnocení hypnogramů

Abstract

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement a method for creating a hypnogram. The second part of this thesis is dedicated to the design and processing the method for quantitative evaluation of the hypnograms. The entire program is written in matlab programming language. The introductory parts of the bachelor thesis analyze the basics of sleep physiology, sleep cycles and hypnogram. The thesis also provides a brief description of used algorithms for classification of the sleep phases and the methods for evaluation of the sleep quality based on the quantitative hypnogram evaluation. The following parts describe the processing of polysomnographic data in the matlab program, training and testing of the particular algorithms at the hypnogram classification. The final parts are dedicated to the design and implementation of the sleep quality evaluation of the used hypnograms, based on the automated calculation of quantitative parameters and subsequently the comparison of the calculated values (with the optimal values). These comparisons are performed according to the R&K manual (and later AASM).
