Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of tools based on artificial life for simulation of evacuation. In the introduction are characterized known types of evacuation and presented certain solutions for traffic-flow optimization used in foreign countries. Next parts are devoted to modelling process, also particular methods of artificial life are described. This part is followed by description of programing language Logo and NetLogo simulation environment, which was used for the implementation of own vehicle-following model. In the practical part is created model described in detail and also verified and validated.
