This thesis addresses the theoretical analysis and the requirements of the electric drive system in combination with IWD. Based on the initial analysis determines what type of the electric motor is a good choice for a demonstration vehicle "DEMOCAR". It focuses on basic computing dynamic vehicle parameters with used engines and describes the drive control using inverters. Verifies the parameters of the drive with one wheel in experiment with the connected shafts of two motors. It also gives the possibility of the communications protocols control electronics converters with supervisory control unit and at the end of the work deals with the installation of the drive to the vehicle „DEMOCAR“.
