Zvýšení bezpečnosti pracovníků při údržbě pozemních komunikací

Abstract

The thesis deals with the safety of workers performing maintenance work on roads in traffic. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the legal and technical regulations in relation to the safety of work on roads, as well as the categorization of roads, the safety of workers, activities and risks they face on a daily basis. Official accident statistics among workers and drivers are highlighted. The last chapter is devoted to a comparison of accident rates and elements of worker safety in selected European countries. The practical part of the thesis elaborates the results of a questionnaire survey among maintenance workers, then identifies the risks through the Ishikawa diagram and analyses the risks using the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method. The most serious risks are then determined by a Pareto diagram. At the end of the work the shortcomings in worker safety are treated with suggestions for innovative measures to improve worker safety in road maintenance.
